This live virtual course offers up to 7.5 hours of Continuing Education (CE) credit and is delivered over 4 hours. It serves as an introductory program focused on developing foundational skills in Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM).
Designed for licensed practitioners, the course begins with an overview of the myofascial system, including the science behind dysfunction, as well as the history and current research supporting IASTM. Participants will then engage in a lab-based, hands-on learning experience covering instrument anatomy, fundamental techniques, and stroke applications. Instruction also emphasizes targeting specific soft tissue restrictions and understanding key treatment parameters, with a strong focus on clinical reasoning to guide effective treatment strategies.
