This live, in-person course offers up to 11 hours of Continuing Education (CE) credit and is conducted over 8 hours. It is designed as an introductory program for licensed practitioners seeking to develop foundational skills in Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM).
The course begins with an overview of the myofascial system, including the science behind dysfunction, as well as the history and current research supporting IASTM. Participants will then take part in a hands-on, lab-focused learning experience covering instrument anatomy, fundamental techniques, and stroke applications. Emphasis is placed on addressing specific soft tissue restrictions and understanding key treatment parameters, with a strong focus on clinical reasoning to guide effective treatment strategies.
