This live, in-person course provides up to 11 hours of Continuing Education (CE) credit and is conducted over 8 hours. It is designed as an introductory program for licensed practitioners looking to build foundational skills in Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM).
The course begins with an overview of the myofascial system, including the science behind dysfunction, along with the history and supporting research of IASTM. Participants will then take part in a hands-on, lab-focused learning experience covering instrument anatomy, essential techniques, and stroke applications. Emphasis is placed on addressing specific soft tissue restrictions and understanding key treatment variables, with a strong focus on clinical reasoning to support effective treatment planning.
