This live, in-person course offers up to 11 hours of Continuing Education (CE) credit and runs for a total of 8 hours. It is designed as an introductory program focused on building foundational skills in Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) for licensed practitioners.
The course begins with an overview of the myofascial system, including the science behind dysfunction, along with the history and current research surrounding IASTM. Participants will then engage in a lab-based, hands-on learning experience covering instrument anatomy, fundamental techniques, and stroke applications. Instruction also emphasizes targeting specific soft tissue restrictions and understanding key treatment parameters, with a strong focus on clinical reasoning to guide effective treatment strategies.
