Originality
By submitting your manuscript to IJSPT, it is understood that it is an original work, has not been previously published, and is not under consideration elsewhere. The journal maintains strict standards to uphold academic integrity and scientific credibility. Plagiarism, including self-plagiarism or duplicate publication of the author’s own work without proper citation, is strictly prohibited. All manuscripts may undergo review processes and originality checks using advanced anti-plagiarism software to ensure compliance with these standards.
Patient Confidentiality
NASMI Copyright & Licensing
All articles published open access will be immediately and permanently free for everyone to read, download, copy and distribute. IJSPT/NASMI’s policies are compatible with all major funders open access and self-archiving mandates. As such, IJSPT/NASMI does not require authors of original (primary) research papers to assign copyright of their published contributions. Authors will retain copyright alongside scholarly usage rights and IJSPT/NASMI will be granted non-exclusive publishing and distribution rights. While authors retain all copy-right to their work, authors will also grant IJSPT/NASMI a non-exclusive license to publish their work. Authors can reuse their papers in their future printed work without requiring permission from the publisher of the journal.
All articles publishing in the IJSPT will be published under the CC BY-NC license. This license allows others to download the creative works and share them with others as long as they credit the authors and journal, but they can’t change the works in any way or use them commercially. This provides an industry-standard framework to support easy re-use of open access material.
NASMI LICENSE TO PUBLISH TERMS:
In consideration of NASMI/IJSPT evaluating the Contribution for publication (and publishing the Contribution if the NASMI/IJSPT so decides) the Author(s) grant to NASMI/IJSPT for the full term of their copyright and any extensions thereto, subject to clause 2 below, the right and irrevocable license (a) to edit, adapt, publish, reproduce, distribute, display and store the Contribution in all forms, formats and media whether now known or hereafter developed (including without limitation in print, digital and electronic form) throughout the world; (b) to translate the Contribution into other languages;(c) to license others to do any or all of the above, including but not limited to the right to grant readers the right to use the Contribution under the Creative Commons license CC BY-NC; and (d) to re-license article metadata without restriction (including but not limited to author name, title, abstract, citation, references, keywords and any additional information, as determined by NASMI/IJSPT).
Ownership of the copyright in the Contribution remains with the Author(s).
Conflict of Interest
The IJSPT editors believe that transparency in research is essential. At the point of submission, each author should reveal any financial interests or connections, direct or indirect, or other situations that might raise the question of bias in the work reported or the conclusions, implications, or opinions stated – including pertinent commercial or other sources of funding for the individual author(s) or for the associated department(s) or organization(s), personal relationships, or direct academic competition. When considering whether you should declare a conflicting interest or connection please consider the conflict of interest test: Is there any arrangement that would embarrass you or any of your co-authors if it was to emerge after publication and you had not declared it?
All submissions must be accompanied by a completed Conflict of Interest Statement in their submitted manuscript. Authors may use the ICMJE disclosure form. The corresponding author is responsible for collecting and reporting disclosures from all authors. The completed disclosure form shall include complete disclosure from all authors and any other individuals acknowledged as contributing to the conduct or analysis of the research or writing of the manuscript. If the manuscript is published, Conflict of Interest information, including if none was declared, will be communicated in a statement in the published paper. All editors and reviewers must file a potential conflict of interest declaration annually in the IJSPT manuscript review system.
Publication of Corrections
IJSPT will publish corrections for errors discovered after publication, whether the error was by the authors or occurred during the publication process. However, it is the responsibility of the authors to minimize the possibility of errors by carefully reviewing all proofs prior to publication.
Repository Policy
The IJSPT allows authors to deposit versions of their work in an institutional repository. Authors may deposit all versions of their manuscript, either the submitted version, accepted version (author accepted manuscript) and/or the published version (version of record) in an institutional or other repository of choice. Authors are required to acknowledge submission and/or publication in IJSPT as part of their literature deposit.
