The International Journal of Sports Physical Therapy (IJSPT) is a bimonthly open access journal dedicated to publishing research related to clinically relevant evidence to advance the rehabilitation and care of athletes throughout the world and is aimed at authors and readers who are active in this field. IJSPT is owned and published by the North American Sportsmedicine Institute. Works submitted to the IJSPT must comply with these policies, which are based on the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors and the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) Recommendations for the Conduct, Reporting, Editing and Publication of Scholarly Work in Medical Journals, and World Association of Medical Editors (WAME). Falsification or fabrication of data, plagiarism, including duplicate publication of the author's own work without proper citation, and misappropriation of the work are all unacceptable practices. Any cases of ethical misconduct are treated very seriously and will be dealt with in accordance with the COPE guidelines.
